Sod Removal for Tier Construction

Unfortunately, due to an exclusive agreement with Kindle, I have been asked to remove the contents of this page. However, all the information you will need to build your retaining wall, can be found in my book. I am very sorry of any inconvenience this may cause.

  1. I hate removing sod! I can only do a little at a time when I do it. Of course, hubby won't do it because he hates when I rip his yard up for yet another garden!

  2. Wow, what a huge project. I think you are wise to do it in stages or it would be overwhelming. I can't wait to follow its progress with you.

  4. You're making good progress! I can't quite figure out why you are drying out the sod though.

  5. Alterity Art: I agree, it's not my favorite thing to do...pulling-up perfectly good grass:)

Mountain Woman: It would be great if I could fast-forward to the end:)

    Meghann LittleStudio: Thank you!

BeadedTail: Thank you. I dry the sod in order to be able to remove the dirt, thus making it lighter and allowing me to throw it away.
