Finishing Your Retaining Wall

Unfortunately, due to an exclusive agreement with Kindle, I have been asked to remove the contents of this page. However, all the information you will need to build your retaining wall, can be found in my book. I am very sorry of any inconvenience this may cause.

  1. You have been very busy Tahtimbo! I was going through the pictures to see what a great job you did and I even got a couple of ideas we can use for drainage. We are having drainage issues so will try your drain piping idea. Thanks for the tips :)

  3. Mom's Cafe Home Cooking: Thank you very much, it is starting to actually look like something, now. If you are looking into installing a French drain, you may want to add sand as well as gravel. I wish you luck with your drainage problem.

My Caddy SG: Thanks! Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

  4. I hope we get to see pictures of the finished wall! I feel like I helped build it from the comforts of my air conditioned home! I'm sure you are glad to be done so now you can put your feet up and relax and enjoy a superspeedway race tomorrow morning!

  5. BeadedTail: If you could pass some of that air conditioning this way, it would be greatly appreciated. Yesterday, I was working 4 hours in 100 degree heat and even the breezes felt good:) As soon as I get the wall completed, I'll be sure and share the pictures. There is still quite a bit of work left to do, but I wanted to complete the step-by-step part of the series as soon as possible.
I will try to make time to see the race.
