I loved collecting those things and sticking them on my binders. The packages came with several stickers (I don't remember exactly how many) and a stick of bubble gum. I would put the gum in a plastic bag and keep it out in the tool shed, because I wasn't allowed to have gum with sugar in it. For some Wacky reason, I came across this website and just couldn't resist this quick trek down memory lane.
Does anyone remember these...

Nope, I don't remember these. I used to collect the baseball cards with the gum in them and I got a few monster stickers.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember those either. My favorite was always pixie sticks. Those straws with the flavored powder inside of them. There used to be a little corner store that sold penny candy. My mom used to take me there and let me pick out 25 cents worth of candy. Took me forever to make my selection.
ReplyDeleteKaren, author of "My Funny Dad, Harry": I think I remember those monster ones. I'll have to search and find out.
ReplyDeleteAnn: Oh, I remember getting those, too. Ah, memories :)
Karen, author of "My Funny Dad, Harry": I just checked: the Odd Rod Monster cards? I LOVED those!!! Maybe next week, I'll post something about them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for prompting my memory!
I don't remember those either. I do remember the pixie stick things that Ann was talking about though. I loved those things!
