Have you ever been in a situation where you need to find an address or a phone number of a business, but couldn't find one of the four phone books floating around your house? Alternatively, let's say that you are on a business trip and you are unfamiliar with the surroundings, but you want to find out where some restaurants are located. Well, you can now find the information you are seeking as easily as using the Internet.
Instead of typing in the name of the business on your typical search engine and then having to weed through hundreds of irrelevant results, you can now do a local search for the business you are looking for. Your results will show up and give you all the information you require, including the address, phone number, driving directions, customer reviews, and more. You even have the option of drilling-down your results to show the locations from as near as one-mile, to as far as fifty-miles away.
The landing page is very fresh and user-friendly. At a glance, I can see the local restaurants and the featured businesses. In addition, for those who are securely tucked away in a cubical maze, you can even see what the current temperature and forecast is. What has me impressed is the fact that I can read reviews that were written by previous customers. I like the fact that I can pre-screen a restaurant or business and discover if it actually lives up to its reputation.
As I am writing this, I am getting a little hungry (what else is new), so I'm just going to click over to my local yellowpages and search for my favorite pizza place. As you may remember, I love Chicago Connection, but I can’t remember their phone number. So, I type in their name and up comes the information I need, so I can place my emergency pizza order.
