Help for Those With Sleep Apnea

It is estimated that over 70 million Americans suffer from some sort of sleep related condition. These include insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy.

Sleep apnea is a medical condition, which can identified by some of the following symptoms: snoring, interruption of your breathing, morning headaches, waking-up with a dry mouth and sore throat, and excessive sleepiness. Obviously, you will need someone to tell you if you have one of the first two symptoms, but if you do feel tired much of the time, even after a full nights’ sleep or wake-up with headaches, it would be worth investigating whether or not you have this condition. Although, we do not hear much about sleep apnea, it is a serious condition and if not treated, it can eventually lead to a series of health-related problems including hypertension and irregular heartbeats.
