After visiting Random.org, I would like to take this time to congratulate Thecartoonlovinmama for winning the giveaway. I will be contacting her to get her information. I would like to thank all of you for entering and I look forward to seeing you all once again, during my next giveaway.
I have been familiar with the idea of collecting boxtops for our local schools, but I have to admit that I have never really understood how it worked...until now. I did a little research and found out that for every box top you collect and send to your school's Box Tops coordinator, that school will receive 10¢ (up to $80,000 per school per year). I know that 10¢ may not sound like a lot, but it can certainly add-up quickly and every little bit will be greatly appreciated by your school.
Soon, we will all begin to gear-up for the coming school year, which means buying school supplies, stocking-up on breakfast cereals, snacks, and the dreaded clothes. To help us get a head-start on the coming year, the Kroger Family of Stores have started the "Add Up the Savings" Event. From August 8 through August 21, stop by and shop at your local Kroger store and stock-up on some of your favorite General Mills & Kimberly Clark brands. When you buy 8 participating items, you´ll receive $4 off of your purchase. Some of the participating brands include: Cheerios, Yoplait Yogurt, Pillsbury Cookies & Biscuits, Kleenex, Huggies, Cottonelle, Betty Crocker Brownies, and Lucky Charms.
In addition to helping you get ready for the coming school year, Kroger also wants help the participating school of your choice. You can help them by taking advantage of their special Bonus Box Tops Offers and all you have to do, is register at General Mills Box Tops for Education. Once you register, you will automatically receive 5 Bonus Box Tops just for signing up! You will also receive custom offers for Bonus Box Tops for purchasing participating products.
These offers are:
- Buy any 4 Box Tops products and get 10 Bonus Box Tops
- Buy any 8 Box Tops products and get 25 Bonus Box Tops
The offers you select will then load onto your Kroger Shopper Card to be redeemed once you purchase the items. It´s extra easy because there´s no clipping! Just remember to scan your Kroger Shopper Card and the Bonus Box Tops will automatically go straight the participating school of your choice.
Even after the Add Up the Savings Event is over, you can still help your school. Chances are, you already purchase the products that participate in the School Box Top Program, just look for the Box Tops logo on the hundreds of products like Cheerios® and Hamburger Helper®. All you need to do is clip and send them to your school’s Box Tops coordinator, so why not take a few minutes and clip those box tops: your school will thank you.
