Hampton Hotels Chain of Friends Sweepstakes

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hampton Hotels. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have an entire hotel all to yourself? I realize that many of us don't even give it a thought, because it is something seemingly reserved for only the very rich. But, what if I were to tell you that it could become a reality. Nope, this is not a typo, you can actually win an entire hotel (100 rooms for 2 nights) for a weekend. Hampton hotels is currently having the Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes with the grand prize winner receiving a free two-night stay for themselves and 100 of their closest friends. In addition to this once-in-a-lifetime weekend, the winner will also receive $5,000 to help pay those pesky taxes.

Do you have any ideas what you would do if you won? Well, since I also entered, let me tell you what I would do. Being a blogger, I have many blogging friends who I correspond with on a regular basis. So, if I am lucky enough to win (Yeah, that will happen), I think I would have my own mini blogger convention. I would invite all the bloggers I know and we would have a weekend of fun, food, and conversation. Hey, and guess what? If you came, you would discover that I am not, in fact, a Siamese cat sleeping in a dryer, but actually a real person.

On that first night, I would give a short keynote address welcoming everyone and then the party would begin. I figure a night of dancing and good conversation would be a pretty good start to the weekend. It would be really nice to be able to have a normal conversation with all of you, instead of just a few sentences written on the comment form. Can you think of something you would do, if you won?

If you are interested in entering this contest, be sure to do so before 11:59 CT on September 4, 2010, because that is when the contest ends. Finally, this contest is open to everyone, not just those that are Hilton Honors members or those that have previously stayed at a Hampton. So, be sure to click on the above link and enter today. Who knows, you may be lucky enough to host your very own mini-convention.

  1. I think that a mini blogger convention would be a grand idea. Besides I couldn't think of 100 people in my offline life that I would want to spend a whole weekend with...lol

  2. Ann: I think it would be a fun thing to do. I could even ask my brother-in-law (who is a musician) to provide the dance music :)
