The Life of the Party

I was supposed to fix the toilets this weekend, but instead I had to help my oldest with science and math. The topic in science was genetics and gene mapping and the math junk was about complex numbers (using both real numbers and imaginary numbers; solving problems, and then graphing the results)...not my favorite way to spend a weekend. Believe it or not, I would have been much happier tearing our toilets apart.

Now, on to the star of the show....

Here we see our ample cat stretched out on our table. We used this table for Thanksgiving to hold the drinks and snacks. If you look closely, you can see him sticking his tongue out at us... some nerve, huh?

A Fun Weekend Planned

Guess what I'll be doing this weekend...



Yep, one of our toilets has started running, so I figured I would take some time and fix it. Since I'll be gutting the innards of one of them, I figured I might as well do the other one as well. Although the job only requires a flapper valve, I decided to just replace everything. Also, since I am so strapped for things to write about, I'll be doing a how-to article, complete with pictures. I know, you can barely wait.
