Limited Edition Custom Fiber Blend

CANYONLANDS (Striped)

This Limited Edition Custom Fiber Blend reminds me of the canyonlands in northern Arizona and southern Utah - rich russet, brown, copper, burgundy, tan, reds and gold with a hint of greens. This blend consists of custom dyed wool, merino top, mohair and tussah silk with several colors of Angelina and Firestar for flash. Very lofty with a nice dash of sparkle. Will make a beautiful yarn. Or, use this for your next felting project - perfect for nuno felters!

3.0 oz in one beautiful lofty soft batt.

This is a Limited Edition Luxury Custom Fiber Blend. Most of the dyed fibers used to create these batts are custom dyed fibers and are not reproducible. I made a coordinating set of batts using the same ingredients but that batch is made using a striping layered technique - available in a separate listing in the store. This batch is made using a blended layering technique. I have more fibers available but each batt made will be its own unique piece of art.

The actual color of the fiber may vary slightly from the auction photo as each computer displays color a bit differently.

PANSY - Handspun Boucle Yarn - BFL, Silk,
Bamboo, Glitz, Angelina - 196 Yards

multiple photos of pansy handspun yarnmultiple photos of pansy handspun yarnHandspun thread plyed boucle yarn spun from batts consisting of BFL wool, silk, bamboo, glitz and Angelina in Pansy shades - Greens, Turquoise, Aqua, Purples and White. Very lofty and soft.

196 yards and 3.9 ounces. I don't have a wpi for this yarn but I'm making an educated guesstimate that it is a heavy worsted weight. Recommend 9-11 needle or H - K hook. This skein coordinates beautifully with our Olivia's Pansies yarn (merino/silk) available in a separate listing.

This yarn has been properly treated to set the twist.

Suitable for knitting, crocheting, felting or whatever your creativity dreams up!

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent. Do not twist or wring. Roll in a towel to removed excess moisture, reshape and lay flat to dry.

The actual color of the yarn may vary from what is shown on your computer monitor.

Pansies Hand Knit Scarf - Alpaca, Merino, Silk and Bamboo

The yarn is made from alpaca, merino, silk and bamboo and has beautiful silk Pansy flowers spun into it. It is very soft and squishy! Beautiful greens, creamy white and purple with yellow accents in the flowers - this reminds me of a garden of Pansies!

The scarf measures 2.75" wide and 6'4" (76") in length. Plenty long to go around your neck once or twice, loop it, tie it or just drape it. Or, use it as a sash or wide belt.

This would make a fabulous Mother's Day gift. I can even gift wrap it for you!

Actual color will vary depending on your monitor. Photos taken indoors with flash.

  4. I too enjoy seeing her creations, but if I buy anymore yarn and fiber I'm going to need a bigger house. I need more time to knit and crochet with what I have on hand. I have a weakness though, I love to touch it and visiting my LYS is dangerous, because there's always something that wants to come home with me. They, the fibers must know I'm a soft touch. lol
